CUCM 7.0 DNS

Hi All,

I have installed CUCM 7.0 in vmware and details is configured as follows:

Host Machine: Windows XP

                    : IP Add - 192.168.10.69

                    : Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0

                    : Gateway - 192.168.10.119

Guest Machine on Vmware: Linux 4.x (CUCM 7.0)

                                       : IP Add - 192.168.10.16

                                       : Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0

                                       : Gateway - 192.168.10.119

I can ping CUCM from my windows machine and also can ping my gateway. I have configured DNS (4.2.2.2) using set network dns primary 4.2.2.2

but I cant ping any internet addresses and resolve dns query. from my host machine (windows) I am able to access and ping internet addresses.

I am not getting exactly what is the issue,

Please help to solve it

Can you ping DNS from CUCM?

utils network ping 4.2.2.2

I cant ping any internet ip address though I can ping my gatway. same configuration in on my windows machine and everything is reachable.

I think this issue is in UCCM dns configuration or VMWARE.  but if I create another guest machine (windows XP) on vmware, it pings my network and internet addresses.
