CUCM 8.5 - simulate a failover?

We have a CM group with our Subscriber as primary and Publisher as secondary.

Is there a way to fail over a single phone without affecting the others?

I need to test a few scenarios and need to control the failover of a single phone.

Do you mean block access from the phone to the primary server?

Just to add on to the good info from Javalenc (+5), you can simulate the FailOver for one phone only by using an extended ACL and block traffic from the sub to the ip of the phone itself.
