CUCM 8.5 to 8.6 Raid issue

Hello,

We have upgraded our CUCM cluster from 8.5 to 8.6 on UCS (VMWARE).

When I look at the VMWare disks I see the following:

Publisher:

1x 80 GB disk

Subscriber:

2x 80GB disk

Subscriber:

2x 80GB disk

It looks like the refresh upgrade has coused an issue on the publisher.

We have created the publisher with 2x 80GB disks on an RAID. After the upgrade the 2nd disk is gone.

Now we have also the issue that our common partition is only 40GB, so it gives issues on next upgrades.

We have added an 2nd disk to our virtual machine, but when we restart the CUCM it gives the popup that our configuration is not supported.

How can we resolve this issue? Can we add the 2nd disk and rebuild the cucm partitions?

Hi

If you want to change the disk configuration you will need to:

  • DRF Backup
  • Reprovision VM from the OVA
  • Build from media
  • Reinstall COP files
  • DRF Restore

That's the only way to get a proper build...

Regards

Aaron
