Hello Fellows,
I have a CUCM 8.5 that i finished configuring, and a 2821.. I will have the 2821 router terminate all calls to a SIP trunk/provider.
So what i basically like to do is connect the CUCM-2821-SIP Provider.. My $1 question would be what's the best was to connect the CUCM 8.5 to 2821 as a H3232, SIP, or MGCP ?
I'm thinking of going the MGCP route, any sugestions fellows ?
Thx

Your best bet is to use a sip trunk between your CUCM and your gateway. Configure your 2821 as a CUBE gateway. Then connect your CUBE to your service provider.
This is the best approah. Your call will be SIP-SIP all the way...
So you will have
CUCM---------sip trunk--CUBE----------(dial-peer with-sip protocol)----ITSP
NB: mgcp will not work for this scenario..So dont even thin about it

Concur, no reason to mess with multiple protocols here.
