CUCM 8.5 Upgrade to 8.6 Revisited

All,

I asked about this a few days ago but am still struggling with a few things. 

1) COP file.  Is this uploaded to the PUB the same way the software update is?

2) I know I upgrade the PUB then boot to the new partition but are the subs upgraded also or wiped clean?  If the Subs are upgrade the pub is done first right?

Feel free to point me in the right direction.  I have been looking for a doc that gives all the steps for the upgrade from 8.5 to 8.6 but the links I am finding keep pointing me back to each other.

1) Yes, there is no other way to install anything on Linux appliances. Either via OS Admin or CLI and procedure is pretty much the same for anything (COP, locales, upgrades, etc)

Have you already reviewed the RNs for 8.6 which cover the upgrade?

No reboot needed after the COP file install right?

We did not re-boot after the COP file. I documented our upgrade (we did CER and CUCM at the same time). It was tailored more for some jr engineers in our company, so pardon any obvious steps.
