CUCM 8.6.2 VMTools

Hi all,

I tried to install VMTools on CUCM 8.6.2 as indicated at:

Now from ESXi GUI interface I can see VMTools status OK, but if I type "utils vmtools status" on cli the system say:

admin:utils vmtools status

No VMware Tools tarball found on the install media.

Please ensure that you have selected

Guest -> Install/Upgrade VMware Tools by right-clicking on the

VM from your VI client.

Can someone indicate wich is the correct status of vmtools ?

Hi

It looks like the command is trying to compare the VMtools that are installed to the VMtools on the media. If you do the right click/install vmtools on the virtual machine in vSphere and then run the command again does it give you a better response?

If vSphere says it's OK, then it's OK is pretty much the bottom line either way.
