CUCM 8.6 LDAP issue

Hi All,

Today I faced some unknown problem with CUCM LDAP sync with MS AD.

As, the scheduled sync process works fine, that means if the client add a new user on their AD it not gets reflected on CUCM by doing the manual dir sync i.e. by doing Perform sync now. But when the clients wait till the schedule time (which is 1 day), after it reflects on the CUCM.

Is any one faced the same issues please, share thier knowledge, Thanks.

Note: We think was working normal, captured 389 port also.

How long are you waiting after the sync to verify the user is not there? Depending on size this can take quite some time.

I am, wait max for 45 mins, and the size is 3,500 entries.

I would restart Cisco Tomcat and Dirsync, then try again. Also, are you certain that the object exists on the DC that CUCM is integrated with? You could be facing a replication issue on the AD side of things.
