CUCM 8.6 -Voice Gateway Configuration

Hi All,

We have a CUCM 8.0 with more than 300 users, and our PSTN voice gateway configured with H323. Outgoing and Incoming Calls are working fine,

Now we had purchased new 2 servers with CUCM 8.6,

For testing- connected to the network for testing PSTN Calls,

registered  voice gateway with CUCM,

added the Voip dial peers for new CUCM's on voice gateway.

Reseted the Route list.

Both incoming and outgoing calls are not working.

To make it clear- old and new CUCM's are using same voice gateway. Phones registered with old CUCM -PSTN calls works fine, Phones registered with new CUCM both incoming/outgoing calls not working, i cannot see call landing on voice gateway even.

Any clue.

On your new cucm...Do you see the IP address of the h323 gateway?

Yes in the right corner i could see the IP of voice gateway(its registered), i had done the reset for Route list also.

Ok Bobby,

Lets look at inbound call. Can you send a

debug voip ccapi inout.

For out bound calls..I take it you have configured route patterns..

Hi,

Iam attaching "debug ccapi" for incoming calls.

For outgoing - call is not landing on gateway.

The disconnect cause is 38 which "network out of order" on both dial-peer 1009 and 1111

So your gateway and cucm are not talking properly.

can you attach a sh run of your gateway? please attach dont post it all here

Is the Ip address you are seein on cucm for the gateway this 10.90.30.9 ?

I can think of anything that could be wrong. What I will suggest is this

1. Check the Device pool the gateway is in. Is cucm service activated on that server

2. Restart the cucm service on the server(s)

3. If that still doesnt work..Delete the gateway and re-add it.
