CUCM 8 LDAP and dial from Corporate Directory

Greetings,

LDAP is setup to pull ph # from AD. The number from AD is 918-333-3333 and is displays on the phones as 918-333-3333 or whatever area code is in the directory, not always 918. Now when I dial from the Corporate Directory the number does not have a 9 prepended and will not go. Sure I can edit the number on the phone to add the 9 then dial. What I need is to systematically add the 9 and or 91 when a user dials from the Corporate directory. The intergrator is gone and this is broke, need some guidence to prepend the needed numbers to route the dial by Corporate Directory calls properly.

Thanks a bunch!

There are many ways to get the system prefix digits, such as translation pattern or transformation pattern.

For example, you may go to CUCM > Call Routing > Translation Pattern and create a pattern like this:

Pattern: XXXXXXXXXX

Translation Pattern Mask: 91XXXXXXXXXX

This will prefix all 10-digit numbers with 91.  Of course, you may fine tune the pattern to make it more specific, such as [2-9]XX[2-9]XXXXXX, etc.
