Hi there,
I'm try to create a LDAP filter for CUCM 8.X to import from Active Directory the users with IP Phone only. Anyone can help me with such a filter? I tried to use the filter to update with AXL toolkit, but it's not working.
Thanks & Regards,
Ysana

Hi
Two things:
1) This has been covered in some detail on the forums; probably have a read of this at least first: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2011567
2) I recall in 8.x the ability to add a custom LDAP filter was brought in, so you shouldn't need to use AxlSqlToolkit. Generally using that is a last restort (after the GUI, BAT and AXL have all failed you :-) )
Take a look at that post, and check under the LDAP menu in CUCM for the option to assign a filter.
Failing that, post back exactly what you have set for the filter.

This will import users only with the ipPhone field set use this filter: (ipPhone=*)
You can test it with AD Users and Computers by going to Find, then select Custom Search, then click the Advanced tab. You can enter in an LDAP query and see what the results are for testing to make sure you get what you want. This is covered in this guide:
