CUCM 9.1 Map User ID to custom AD Field

Hi All,

I would like to know if there is a way to map the User ID field to a custom AD field. Currently the only options are to use: uid, mail, employeenumber, telephone number & userprincipalname.

My customer's LDS uses a custom field to store all network login ids and we would like to utilise this to map as User ID within CUCM, as the LDS contains much more details information of users, compared to our current standard AD integration.

Is this likely to become a feature in upcoming releases or is there another way we can map this custom field to the User ID field within CUCM?

AFAIK you are stuck with those five. Nothing changed in 9.0 and I'm not aware of any plans...

What's the main issue?

Are all those five attributes used for other purposes in the LDS?

What are you using as username in CUCM?
