Good day all. First I am "wet behind the ears" so to speak when it comes to CUCM. What I am trying to accomplish is Lync Integration with CUCM. So far I have been a to do "dual fork" simultaneous ring between IP Phones and Lync. Can answer on either, etc. Internally, I can from Lync dial an IP Extension (Cisco Phone - four digits) and it will ring and vice versa dial 4 digit extension from cisco phone and will ring both. However, when I try to do a local dial, I will receive a 604 Does not Exist Anywhere on the SIP trace from Lync. Below is the error message. Any suggestions, and once again, guidance is appreciated!!!!

As far as I know, Cisco UCM doesnt have the cause code 604, it says 404 Not found. I believe this is coming from a different gateway in the lync environment.

Thanks George. I am unsure how it could be coming from a different gateway. Lync to Extension (Cisco Phone) is performing correctly. Also in the above message the ms-trunking peer is the IP of CUCM. Any other suggestions I would be most grateful.

Will you be able to upload CUCM logs here?

If I knew how :)
Any security risks?

Here is a guide. http://smbitsolutions.wordpress.com/2010/05/26/how-to-gather-logs-with-rtmt/
Well, the logs contain your domain information and internal IP address of Lync/CUCM. If that is a concern, i think you have to open a TAC case. :)

Hi Chris,
The local dial from Lync you mean is the external call?
If so, what is the call flow? Lync---sip---CUCM---Gateway (GW)??? what is the GW type?
may be, we can collect the debug from GW and check who is disconnecting the call and why?
does the local dial from cisco phone work?
