CUCM & Call Recording

Hello Everyone,

We have CUCM 10.5 integrated with Nice Recording. The recording server is pointed to one of our subscribers (Sub#1) and works fin.

I upgraded only the 10.5 Publisher to11.5 and pointed the call recording server to Pub. The CTI integration btw CUCM 11.5 and Nice recording server shows logged-in but no call recording is happening.  I pointed the recording server back to the same subscriber (Sub#1) and no call recording is happening. As I mentioned, call recording with the subscriber (Sub#1) was working but after re-pointing to the same server, the call recording is not working. The only solution was te revert the Pub back to 10.5 and reboot the Sub#1 to make the call recording work again. 

I had to switch-version back to 10.5 but the 11.5 is still in inactive partition. I collected some log files from the inactive partition using RTMT and hoping to find some indications regarding the recording failure.  Attached is the logs from the inactive partition where the Pub was in 11.5 version. 

 

Could you please let me know if you can see anything unusual to help find out where the issue is?.

If i m not wrong you have to check with nice vendor with compatibility of cucm with nice recording for particular versions.. i know if you upgrde your cucm then you have to perform patch upgrde for nice also ..

 

Please check with Nice.

Hi MK,

 

I would say you upgrade both Pub and sub to 11.5 and then try recording with the same config pointing to sub. If you just upgrade Pub to new version, you will have all kinds of weird issues.
