hello experts
the two DN. 2001 - 2001 is registered in same call manager with different location sites thru MPLS WAN
how can assign an area code before DN. 41-2001 for 1st site - DN. 51-2001 for the 2nd location to reach each extension
let to summarize the current situation:
Site 1- HQ
CUCM
GW between branches for MPLS provider
DN. 2001 to 9000
site 2 - Branch 1
Voice GW with SRST for MPLS
DN. 2001 to 9000
site 2 - Branch 2
Voice GW with SRST for MPLS
DN. 2001 to 9000
any help ,
You need to develop an enterprise dial plan that eliminates potential overlaps such as this one. Either use e164 dial plan or variable length dial plan (think site codes) or uniform dial plan with extension length longer than 4 digits, i.e. 6, where the DN is last 6 digits of the DID or any other prefix normalized at ingress.
