Hi Everyone,
I have just stumbled upon an idea:
What if a BACD script can be setup in a SIP Gateway to route CUCM hunt-pilot instead of ephone-hunt group
diagram
PSTN-->SIPGW-->CUCM
It's not possible to route an extension connected to CUCM
for example
ephone-hunt 1 sequential
pilot 2945555
list 5648568
dial-peer voice 9889 voip
destination-pattern 2945555
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:10.177.85.66
voice-class codec 1
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
no vad
This will not work, because an error will stop it.
What if instead of buying an expensive contact center, a simple BACD that connect's to CUCM without using CME. I have never done this before, it will be interesting. Is it possible?, please comment
Auto Attended # = 294-5555
Group 1 = 294-6001(Hunt Pilot Configured in CUCM)
Members = 6001,6002,6003
Group 2 = 294-6002(Hunt Pilot Configured in CUCM)
Members = 6011,6012,6013
Group 3 = 294-6003(Hunt Pilot Configured in CUCM)
Members = 6021,6022,6023
PSTN Caller dials 294-5555
PSTN-->SIPGW-->BACD-->Rerouted>-->CUCM-->Hunt Pilot-->Hunt List--> Members-List

Unity Connection will alow you to build the IVR menus, but it will not allow you to queue a call. CUCM 9.X as previously stated can be combined with Unity Connection to build a menu and then queue the call.

BACD is only compatible with CME, it will not queue to CUCM extensions.
As of version 9.0 CUCM does have basic ACD functionality that allows you to queue calls and play prompts just like BACD.

Thanks for the quick reply
but is it possible to do this using Unity connection?

Actually you can queue a call with CUC, but the problem is, that while you wait, every minute or so, you'll be prompted if you want to remain waiting or if you want to leave a message.

Java,
Are you referring to supervised transfers with call hold? I would not really consider that anything close to ACD queue.
