Hi there,

I think you may be hitting this bug;

CSCtd50486 - DRS fails, Error in checking manual purge or reload status in CAR

Description

Symptom:
Problem Description:
When  doing a backup/restore in CUCM 7.1.x, it fails . Feature CCM service  fails in the screen with Result Code 101. This issue occurs only if  there is any problem with CAR db and its not able to get the manual  purge status.
In the log, you will see something like this
CDRREP: Error in checking manual purge or reload status in CAR db
main:General SQL failure:
java.sql.SQLException: Failed to get Connection.Connector(NOT CONNECTED: Driver=com.informix.jdbc.IfxDriver;)
Conditions:
Issue exists on CUCM 7.1x and resolved in CUCM 8.x
Workaround:
This fix is present from 7.1.3 release onwards. Can upgarde to the build having fix.
Else,
The workaround will be-
1) Login with root access.
2) Go to /usr/local/cm/drf/cdrrep location.
3) Take a back up of the cm_car_service_deactivate.py file. Run the following command,
cp cm_car_service_deactivate.py cm_car_service_deactivate_backup.py
4) Replace the file cm_car_service_deactivate.py which is attached in the cdets to /usr/local/cm/drf/cdrrep location.
5) Change the file permission. Run the following commands.
chown root:root cm_car_service_deactivate.py
chmod 755 cm_car_service_deactivate.py
A important note :- The file cm_car_service_deactivate.py (attached in cdets) will work for 7.X versions.
