I'm looking at a client UC setup at the moment, and the NTP reference for CUCM and CUC is a lab one that is now inaccessible. I don't want to remove and change this because I'll have to go through the licencing again.
My question is - can I add a second one and keep the licencing fine? Version 8.6(4)SU2.
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Hi Jason,
Yes, you can add another NTP server and it will have no impact to licensing. I've tested this on UCM 8.5 in the past.

Hi Jason,
I remember we can add five external NTP servers in Cisco Call Manager version 6 .x and cisco recommends at least three.
Not sure about call manager version 8

Just took the plunge and added a second NTP reference to CUC and it's working fine, no licencing issues.
Cheers!
