Hi all,
We are setting up Intercom for each of users using Extension Mobility. I have come across an oddness that I expect is the predicted outcome but need to change its behaviour.
Phone A
Extension 0031
Intercom Line 0031
Phone B
Extension 0042
Intercom Line 0042
Phone B makes or receives a normal external call with the headset selected and ends the call and docks the headset for charge.
Phone A Intercoms Phone B and enters whisper mode.
Phone B can not hear Phone A as the voice stream is coming out of the headset.
We are using:
Cisco Unified Communications Manager 9.1.2
Phone Models: 8845, 8961, 7961 (latest firmware: 11-0-1-11)
The "Auto Answer with Speakerphone" is selected under each line
Is there a way enforce that all Intercoms activate the loudspeaker?

Hi Edip,
The phone chooses the output audio path according to the last used audio source.
for eg: if you used the speaker in your last call, the intercom would land on speaker.
if you used the headset in your last call, the intercom would land on headset.
What you can do is instruct the user to manually change the mode from headset to speaker after disconnecting the call.
Bug: (Though its Working as Designed)
Please rate if helpful.
