CUCM is loading the same firmware as on a phone.

                   Hello everybody,

I have a phone with the firmware: SCCP45.9-0-2SR1S.loads

Added it to CUCM v8.0.2 and CUCM loaded a new firmware to the phone, but

/Device/Device Settings/Device Default

Cisco 7965 SCP SCCP45.9-0-sSR1S Def. Standard 7965 SCCP

Why it is loading the same version of the firmware?

How to stop reload the phone?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

In addition to what has asked by friends, how many servers do you have in a cluster?  Have u uploaded new firmware to all servers in a cluster and restarted tftp service?

regds,

aman

You need to make sure the firmware name defined in the device default phone page of CUCM matches the actual firmware name less the period before "loads" and anything to the right of the period.  The first thread shows an inconssitancy between the firmware name and the listing in the device defaults..

Cisco 7965 SCP SCCP45.9-0-sSR1S Def. Standard 7965 SCCP  (lower case "s" should be a number 2)
