CUCM Route Pattern 9.011! vs 9011!

What would be the difference between the 2 patterns above?  The digit strip of the 9 would be done on the CUBE in either case so wouldn't be using any digit dropping in the pattern.

either patterns should work if your are not doing any like (discard digit predot) on call manager. If you are just using it to match then either work and you can just send the dialed digits onto your cube and discard the 9 there if you want.

+5 to Dennis,

I also add that with 9011! you would not receive the secondary dialtone when dialing 9 as outside access code.
