CUCM Upgrade 11.5.1(SU1) to 11.5.1(SU2) failed

Hi,

want to upgrade a CUCM 11.5.1 (SU1) to SU2. The upgrade failed wih this message:

  • /usr/local/cm/script/cm-dbl-install L2 PostInstall 11.5.1.12900-21 11.5.1.11900-26 /usr/local/cm/ /partB/usr/local/cm/ /common/log/install/capture.txt failed (1)
  • failed to upgrade infrastructure_post components
  • /usr/local/bin/base_scripts/appmanager.sh -upgrade -basepath /common/rpm-archive/11.5.1.12900-21 -logfile /common/log/install/install_log_2017-05-18.12.48.01.log -resultfile /common/log/install/upgrade-results.xml failed (1)

Its an vm machine on ESXi 6.0.0

A IMP server is configured on CUCM. This server already have the SU2 version.(fresh install)

Somebody knows what could be wrong?

Workaround:
Check under User management -> user/phone add :
universal device template names
universal line template names
feature group template names

Make sure there are no hyphens and extra spaces in the template name.
Check the details in workaround and let us know

That was the right hint. Upgrade now running after deleting the templates.

below is what i saw in your logs that pointed me to that BUG.

how can i delete the templates

I am facing the same problem while upgrading to CUCM 12 but mandatory that one template is existing to be assigned to cucm @Jitender Bhandari @Support Albakom

i am facing the problem upgrade cuc11.5 to 12.5, please advice and suggested. full log share in attachment.

I had this error during a new installation of versions 12.5 and 14.0. Everything was resolved by increasing the virtual disk size from 80 GB to 110 GB.
