CUCM Upgrade from 6.1.4 to 8.6

Morning, Gens.

Maybe someone has such experience!

I have a cluster Pub + 2 Sub's. The currecnt ver 6.1.4.2190-3.  I'm planning to migrate to ver 8.6 ( for Russia i supose UNRESTRICTED)

Is anyone has such experience ? I will be appreciate for any usefull information in that case.

Will in be direct upgrade, how to backup data before migration, Do i need a spesial patch, what a hardware requirements and  etc.

You can upgrade directly to last 8.6 from your 6.1.4.

You'll upgrade Pub, install new license, then upgrade Subs. Of course better to do backup before, although upgrade goes to second partition and you always can revert server to old version by switching between active-inactive software partitions.
