Good day team!
I have read the deploy docs...some things are not clear to me...
1. Does phones has default SSID ? as docs says... create SSID 'cisco' with no password for initial register..download fw and etc. It is remote site and don't have phone near me. On dhcp server basd on 3850 switch I add option 150.
So, person on remote site should unpack the phones, swith then on and connect to open SSID 'cisco' ?
2. With 882xBD.1-1.jar I have created profile 1 with ssid 'cisco' no password, then I need to upload it to CUCM TFTP through Cisco Unified Operating System Administration? Or after initial deply i need to create secure profile, upload to TFTP and phones will download it and use in future registration?

Hi @s_SiD_s
You can first create a "Wireless LAN Profile configuration" in CUCM and input the SSID and password details into it.
Device-->Device settings-->Wireless LAN Profile configuration
Then assign this profile to "Wireless LAN Profile Group" under device->Device Settings->Wireless LAN Profile Group.
Then you can assign this "Wireless LAN Profile configuration" to your device profile, which is the easier way to do it. But you need to reset the device pool to take the changes into effect. In the device pool under "Roaming Sensitive Settings" the option is there to select the "Wireless LAN Profile Group."
You can do this using the bulk admin tool as well. Under Bulk administration->Phones->Update phones->query.
Based on the filter criteria, the system will list down the phones and from there select the "Wireless LAN Profile Group."
(you can select the phone type containing 8821 or search based on the directory number.)

Hi @s_SiD_s
I can see the hostname under the below settings.
CUCM web page -> System->Server
CUCM web page -> System->Cisco Unified CM
I can observe that the phone takes the name from the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Name setup under the Cisco Unified CM configuration.
The article below was published on changing the IP to FQDN.

I've already double check everywhere...
may be some DB record remains?
when phone is registered, CUCM shows under Device-Phone the IP address of CUCM, but when phone gets unregistered, it shows fqdn....
