CUCMBE 3K: How to change extension length

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to change the extension length from 3 to 4, however the CUCMBE 3K's GUI interface doesn't allow me to do that. I have consulted the administrator guide but it didn't even tell me how to change it.

As per the administrator guide:

"Select the value of the extension from the drop-down list. The                           values are from 3   to 11. The length of Main Number cannot be less than the                           value selected here.

You cannot update this field in the                            Cisco Business Edition 3000 Administrative                               Interface."

Does anyone know how to change extension length?

There is only one way - reinstall BE3K.
