CUCME 8 upgrade single 7965 firmware?

We are working on an issue with our 7965 ip phones and have identified that our firmware is outdated and needs updated.  I would like to only update the firmware on a single or a couple phones for testing before rolling out to the office.  Anyone done this? Simple?  Thanks

Also, thought I should throw in that Im trying to go from SCCP45.8-5-3S to sccp.9-2-1 on the phones. Thanks
