CUCME Licensing

Hi All,

We have a remote site whose IP Phones are presently registered to CUCM with Cisco Voice Gateway 2951 used for calling to outside world via PRI and for SRST as well.

We plan to migrate this site to a standalone solution. For this, do we need any additional licenses to convert the existing voice gateway into Call Manager Express.

Gateway already has the UC package installed.

Hi Gaurav,

You can migrate above router to CME solution as it is having UC K9. But it is recommended to purchase CME Seat licenses (Paper based) .

Hi,

When you say seat licenses, are you refering to something like FL-CME-SRST-25 ?. If yes, shouldn't this be already in the router as this gateway is already supporting SRST.

These are honor based licenses not enforced.
