CUE Editor 7.0.3

I used cue editor 7.0.3 write a simple script try to apply in CUE 8.x AA, but it has no response when I press as the menu instroction. Does anyone have any idea about this? Is cue editor 7.0.3 not compatible with CUE 8.x? Which version should I used?

By the way, if use the web GUI editor come with CUE 8.x, it is very limeted to do the requirement my client need.
