CUPC 7.0.1 not marking packet as EF

Hi

I have done some packet capture and found that the CUPC is not marking the RTP/UDP packet.

Is anything we need to do so that CUPC mark the packet as DSCP EF (UDP/RTP).

Plz find the screenshot for the wireshark.

It say that the frame is not marked.

I need to do Qos so based on what i can dpo QOS for the CUPC 7.0.1.

ANy help is appreciated.

Regards

Well there was a bug surrounding DSCP markings that was fixed in 7.0(5) so you may want to try a newer version.

Beyond that, there are other things that can impact this:

  • Windows may be stripping QoS markings based on a Group Policy. You can also use this toward your advantage to ensure the packets are marked if the policy is properly configured.
  • Was this packet capture performed from the same computer running CIPC?
If not, the switch port needs to trust packets from the data VLAN.

Hi

Thanks for your immediate response.

Just want to know can i create QoS on access port of c

Cisco L2 switch based on DSCP marking  as i have cofigured the same but seems it is not  working.

Both the side we are using CUPC 7.0.1 and we have onlyu one vlan in the access port.
