I have a customer that will start with full presence for 1000 users growing to 5000 or 10,000 users over time.
Can I start with 1X 7835 server and add 2 more when required or do I have to start with a 7845?
Thanks

It is strongly recommended that all cluster nodes are the same size. If there are different models, you/the customer will need to be very careful when balancing users across them. It would be in their best interest to start with an MCS7845. You may also want to consider a UCS C210 instead using the VTG SKU. If you ordered two of these with the necessary VMware licensing, you could actually have a four-node cluster (two nodes per chassis) for HA. Note that HA is absent in 8.0; being re-added in 8.5.

ok. so a single MCS 7845 can support up to 5000 users , so add 2 for 10,000 users plus another 2 for HA
