Custom cptones - MGCP gateway

Hello guys,

I have an 2901 ISR router with 4 FXO ports. The router is registered as an MGCP gateway to CUCM 10.5.
I need to configure custom cptone in MGCP gateway, how can I do that?

I´ve tried to configure the next voice class:

GW-REMOTO(config)#voice class custom-cptone Tarija
GW-REMOTO(cfg-cptone)#dualtone disconnect
GW-REMOTO(cfg-cp-dualtone)#frequency 425
GW-REMOTO(cfg-cp-dualtone)#cadence 200 200 200
GW-REMOTO(cfg-cp-dualtone)#exit
GW-REMOTO(cfg-cptone)#exit
GW-REMOTO(config)#voice-port 7                     
GW-REMOTO(config-voiceport)#supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
GW-REMOTO(config-voiceport)#supervisory custom-cptone Tarija
GW-REMOTO(config-voiceport)#connection plar opx 7516
GW-REMOTO(config-voiceport)#caller-id enable

But this not work! Aparently the gateway have to downloand the custom cptones from the TFTP server.

Hi,

you can try running the command cptone followed by ? and if the network locale for your country is not in the list then you can get a TAC case opened with PCM captures from the voice port for a test call. They will analyze the PCM captures and can advise you a custom cptone with the correct frequence and cadence.
