I created a custom ringtone (Silent.raw) so I can make some lines not ring on my UC560. I can see the ringtone on the 'Default Ring', but it's not available when I try to set the ringtone on each individual line on the phone. Is there something else I need to do to make it available on any line?
Thanks,
- Marc

Hi Marc,
One thing to keep in mind is that the secondary line buttons use
the "distinctiveringlist". Have a look at this great post from Marco @ Cisco

Thanks Rob! That did it! I had the RingList.xml updated, but didn't know about distinctiveringlist.xml
Semi-related question (in the interest of silencing these other lines), Is there any way to get rid of the beep when I'm on the phone and another line rings? That drives me nuts! We used to be on a call manager system and I was able to silence it there.
Thanks,
- Marc

Hi Marc,
You are most welcome my friend
I'm not positive on that one ....have you tried "no callwaiting-beep"? The only other
way that I can think of would be to make the secondary lines "silent ring".
Cheers!

Awesome... You're on a roll!
Here's what I found works:
UC_560(config)#ephone-dn 578
UC_560(config-ephone-dn)#no call-waiting beep
Looks like it is on a per phone basis. I just need to set it for for whichever phone need it.
Thanks,
- Marc
