I have a customer we just installed an IAD2432FSX to connect their PBX to the T1 port and they say they are not receiving the name with caller id. They say it worked with their previous providor I see the name and number in the debug isdn q931.
The customer is using a CudaTel PBX and configured for primary-ni2 connected to the T1 port.
In the debugs I was running (isdn q921 and isdn q931), I did notice the following:
Dec 18 13:45:57.400: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q921: Net RX <- RR sapi=0 tei=0 nr=105
Dec 18 13:45:57.400: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q921: Net RX <- INFO sapi=0 tei=0, ns=101 nr=105
Dec 18 13:45:57.400: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q931: STATUS pd = 8 callref = 0x8089
Cause i = 0x80E428 - Invalid information element contents
Is this related to the problem or something completely different:
Dec 18 13:45:57.388: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q931: SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x0089 Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A2 Standard = CCITT Transfer Capability = Speech Transfer Mode = Circuit Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s Channel ID i = 0xA98384 Exclusive, Channel 4 Display i = 'JACOBY,DAVE' Calling Party Number i = 0x2180, '7706544182' Plan:ISDN, Type:National Called Party Number i = 0x80, '8789' Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown Dec 18 13:45:57.400: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q921: Net RX <- RR sapi=0 tei=0 nr=105 Dec 18 13:45:57.400: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q921: Net RX <- INFO sapi=0 tei=0, ns=101 nr=105 Dec 18 13:45:57.400: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q931: STATUS pd = 8 callref = 0x8089 Cause i = 0x80E428 - Invalid information element contents
What other kind of troubleshooting do I need to do to figure out if we are passing the information to the customer PBX.
