Customer wants Line Group to show hunt pilot number and not original calling number

Customer wants a line group that rings on mobile devices so we created a line group add some dummy phones with remote destinations going to mobile phones. When the call arrives on the mobile phones they see the original calling number, they want to se the hunt pilot number instead. I have tried to change the calling party transformation on the hunt pilot but that does not work when the call gets to the mobile phones. Any ideas on how to transform the calling number from calls to this hunt pilot.? Maybe using other applications CUC or CCX?

Hi David,

On the gateway the call is going out try changing the "Calling Party Selection" and see if it helps.

Any outbound call on a gateway can send directory number information. Choose which directory number is sent:

  • Originator—Send the directory number of the calling device.
  • First Redirect Number—Send the directory number of the redirecting device.
  • Last Redirect Number—Send the directory number of the last device to redirect the call.
  • First Redirect Number (External)—Send the directory number of the first redirecting device with the external phone mask applied.
  • Last Redirect Number (External)—Send the directory number of the last redirecting device with the external phone mask applied.

Hi Jitender,

Thanks for your suggestion, actually it works when calling from external numbers to the linegroup then we get the line group number as calling, but when dialing from internally IP phones we get the calling number from that phone and not the line group number.

And when i debug on the gateway the redireting number is the RD profile and the the hunt pilot number.
