Hi,
I have to try and determine the model of MCS server a Customer has in order to be able to advise whether their hardware will support CUCM v6.x
Is there an easy way of doing this, for instance is the model number written on the server somewhere or is there a way of finding out remotely via Windows or a CCM application ?
Clearly I'm looking for detail such as :
MCS-7815I-3.0-IPC2
as opposed to simply MCS-7815.
Many thanks,
Matt

Its either on a sticker on the server itself. Or, try searching in the registry. On the server itself click start, run, type regedit and search for MCS. I've done this before and it should return the server model. Failing either of the above, get the serial number of the server and contact Cisco.
HTH.

The server part number should be on the sticker on top of the server.
