Good Day,
I am running CUCM 10.5.1 and trying to install the following device pack:
cmterm-devicepack10.5.2.15097-1.cop.sgn
I want the pack for a CP-8821 wireless IP phone that we just purchased.
I have downloaded several different cop files and get the same results. On Software Installation, the file displays the following:
Major, minor and maintenance version numbers obtained from the name do NOT match those of the current version.
Any suggestions on why this would be happening? Thank you.
Paul

Hi Paul,
Sadly your CUCM version 10.5.1 does not support the 8821 (no device pack) and the ones you are trying to use are for CUCM 10.5.2 This is why you keep getting the version mis-match error.
Here's the support info from the 8821 datasheet;
Call control |
● Cisco Unified Communications Manager: 9.1(2), 10.5(2), 11.0(1), and later
● Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST): 10.x, 11.x, and later
● Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express: 10.x, 11.x, and later
● Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS): 9.x, 10.x, 11.x, and later

You would need to upgrade to 10.5.2 at a minimum.
Cheers!
