Dial 1

I have a odd issue, one of our offices when they call a local number they dial 9 XXX XXXX and get to that number, this is as it should be. However when they place that call on hold, select new call and dial another local number 9 XXX XXXX it does not work unless they dial 9 1 XXX XXXX. It is just when they try to make that 2nd call on their line they have to dial a 1.

Not sure why this is.

Hi!

When you dial the second time, are you using the first line too? Probably you are using the second line and this one has a different CSS which has access to a 91  XXX XXXX Route Pattern instead of a 9  XXX XXX.... just guessing 'cause this sounds weird. What's the setting of the Max number of calls on your first line?

Regards,

Tere.

Is the route pattern defined with a device or Route list under the Gateway/Route List drop down? If it's a gateway, can you provide us with the name? If a route list, can you provide us with screen shots of the Route list and route group members?

Hi Nixon,

If above comments don't get you helped, and you're in for some trace exercise yourself, go through this document:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-11779 (and comments provided by other TAC CSE's).

You can show us how far you got and we can help out where you got stuck :-)
