The Telco is sending 7 digits for DID over PRI that we convert to 4 digis, which works ok from the MGCP gateway settings. But in SRST mode, we need to convert 7 to 4 with a Dial-peer and translate some of the numbers. Does anyone have a dial-peer and related translation example?
thanks.

If your DIDs match up with your extensions, one option is to use the dialplan-pattern command under call-manager-fallback, such as:
call-manager-fallback
dialplan-pattern 1 1231... extension-length 4
In this example, 1231234 would get translated to extension 1234. If that doesn't work, what kind of translation do you need to do?
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

This might help you. I got it from another post here.

You can also use the num expand command:
num-exp 245090. 090.

Hopefully, you've already solved the problem, but I'll post this for anyone else searching for the same solution...try the "alias" command under call-manager-fallback.
call-manager-fallback
alias 1 21033344.. to 5350
alias 2 2103335555 to 5350
The command is explained at the following URL:
