Hi guys, I need your help again.
I have got CUCM 7x with 2 phones with these settings:
Phones:
Directory number Partition CSS
Phone 1: 1111 3000 PT_Internal CSS_INTERNAL (contains PT_Internal only)
Phone 2: 1111 3001 PT_Internal CSS_INTERNAL
Translation pattern for short dialing:
Pattern: 3xxx
Mask: 1111xxxx
Pickup group:
PG number: 3000
When I call extension 3000 from extension 3001 using short form (3xxx) I get busy signal. How is it possible? Can it overlap with my PG number?
Thank you for your responses in advance.

The behavior is expected to happen because of your configuration.
3000 is a better match than 3XXX so you're hitting the pickup DN and not using the TP.
You need to either configure a 3000 TP or configure a partition for the pickup DN.

Once again, because of best match routing.
3000 = 1 match
3XXX = 1000 possible matches.
CUCM uses best match routing. Your translation pattern DN is no better match than 3000, so as long as any phone can reach that pickup DN you'll never route the call as you expect. I already mentioned how to fix this.

On which partition is the Pickup DN and what partition/CSS do you have in the TP??

Translation pattern for short dialing:
Pattern: 3xxx
Mask: 1111xxxx
Partition: PT_Internal
CSS: CSS_Interal (it contains PT_Internal only)
Pickup group:
PG number: 3000
Partition: None

Try running the Dialed Number Ananlyzer, and cut and paste the output in a post (so simulate a call from 3001 to 3000)
Thanks

Why am I matching pickup DN?
I thought that call flow is following: Called number (3000) -> Translation pattern ->Route patterns-> CSS_Internal (PT_Internal).
Thanks.
