digits strip + dialing from bb (MVS)

Hello Every one.

I have configured sip trunks to join an MVS server in order to connect Black berrys to the deployment. Right now the black berrys are able to dial call manager extensions, pstn and we can make call from ip phones to black berrys. But the issue here is that we are not able to dial e.164 numbers register in the black berry directory (received calls) the format of the e.164 is like  +525500050686 when the black berry sends the "+" the call is tried to be placed to the pstn and it failed, if I edit the number an erase the "+" the call is routed to the extension (50686).

I have configured translation patterns in order to strip the first 13 digits in the format : \+5255000xxxxx and it should be replaced for xxxx (50686).

And also I have configured Applications dial rules starting with  +5255000 with a leght of 13 and 8 digits to be removed.

Is there something that I am missing?

Regards

Have you run this through the dialed number analyzer?  If so, what do you get?

When you send it to the gateway with the +, what shows up on the Q.931 debug trace as the outdialed number?

Just for testing can you try to block the translation pattern with Error=Precedence level exceeded, and then try a test call. If the call hits the Translation pattern, then the caller should hear an annunciator message as "Your call cannot be completed as dialled". If this does not happen, then make sure the CSS, partition is correct and the TP is being hit.
