Display App, Web-page, Video on Cisco phone (8841)

I have been asked to put things like this on our phones (mostly 8841s and 8851s and a few 9971s):

• a full-screen analog clock
• company news (from an internal website)
• a morning announcement video

I guess to begin with: is this possible?  And how hard is it to do it?

Wallpapers seem fairly easy, but how about a full-screen analog clock, or the talking-head video broadcast?

How do I get started?  I have full access to CUCM and programming experience.

If you want to develop apps, you probably want to start in DevNet instead of CSC
