DMS Call Recording Enabled - Unable to Receive Transfered Call

Hi All,

We have just enabled Cisco DMS call recording from a few Cisco 7942 handsets, this was working fine with no problems. I have now discovered that when an extension has been enabled for DMS recording if you attempt to transfer a call to it you receive an error tone. If you disable the DMS recording this works fine.

I am currently looking into this but am unsure on how to trace the issue, can any one offer any suggestions?

Hi Jason,

There should be multiple issues for call failing.

I feel you might be having call flows from one of the flows listed in the above doc and this doc is detailed and you can pin point to the actual issue (like transcoding issue, codec mismatch etc).
