Solved: DNS for CUCM without any domain

Hi

Would it be OK if I configure DNS for cucm/unity connection and presence server clusters ( version 9.1) without a domain?

when I am about to configure DNS, it gives me a message saying the domain name should be configured.

Hi Hamed,

As long as the DNS server can resolve the servers hostname without a domain name, I think we can avoid setting a domain name. I know that the CLI will prompt you to put one in, but if the above mentioned condition is met, we can avoid that.
