Customer Requirement:

- Business Edition 6000M  11.0 with HA
- IP Phones- 7975 (Qty 13)
- Analog Phones (Qty 36), connected via Analog VG 320

Ques1: If Cisco Voicemail (CUC 11.x) has to be provisioned for all users. (IP Phone users & Analog Phone users), which amongst the below would be preferred Licensing option:
 (i)  CUWL-STD-BE6k11.0: 35 user Starter pack  ; for IP Phone users
(ii) UCL Essential License: (Qty 36) ; for Analog Phones
(iii) Do we need to factor  Additional 36-Qty VM License for Analog Phones?

(iv) Do Analog Phones require CUC /VM License?

Ques2. Can Analog Phones be registered with CUCM under Extend and Connect or is it only third paty PBX phones ?

Ques3. Will there be High Availability for Analog Phones like IP Phones in case one of the BE6k server goes down ?

Thanks

Sumit

1. CUWL includes mailbox plus ability to own 10 devices per user, if you only have single device UCL Enhanced for the phones and Essential for analog plus separate voicemail licenses might be cheaper, but you will need to compare

2. Extend and Connect is a feature of Jabber with ability to login onto external numbers, so not sure what you are asking for here, please state your requirements

3. Depending what voip protocol you use to control them, SCCP, MGCP, SIP, H323 they all have ability to configure redundancy, but configuration is different, CUCM controlled for the first 2 vs. dial peers for the last 2
