Do SCCP Phones Periodically update their configurations (without a reset)?

Hello All,

We would like to update the directory URL on a number of phones, but didnt want to carry out a device reset. Will the phones automatically update their configurations after a period without a reset being performed?

Are there any other options to update the directory URL in a non service impacting way?

No, anything that asks for a reset of the phone is because the SEPmac.cnf.xml file has been modified and the phones only download that upon reset or during the boot up process.
