Deployment Scenario:-
The Cisco IAD is deployed as:-
Telco Network --- VoIP --- Cisco IAD2431 --- PRI to pbx at customer site
The pbx has a lot a fax lines which are used to send faxes to one another. The customer site has multiple locations which are aggregated at one main locaiton for fax and voice.
The need is to be able to use the TDM switching capability (if available) so that the fax calls remain on the Cisco IAD, thereby increasing the chances of a successful fax?
Anyone has any ideas.

You do not need to worry about tdm switching or not.
In all cisco products, a call that is local to the device does not go to voip so fax modem and what else are always 100% succesful.
Note the IAD is a service provider device to which you should not be interested unless you are an SP yourself.

You are correct, there. I was able to test it on a chassis successfully. Thanks!
