All,
I have a weird issue in vmware where any virtual server running the appliance os (linux) is dropiing a pack or so in every 7 to ten.
I have done a packet capture from one of the servers and i can see only 9 replys being sent so its definately dropping the reply on the ucm.
If i ping the windows machine running UCCX 7.0 i dont get any drops. So it definately OS specifc.
Its like its being rate limited on the CUCM i have turned off CSA and its still doing it.
Has anyone ever come across this?
Thanks
Kev

Doesnt matter i have found out that it has a rate limiter built in for icmp.
Cheers

One other thing to be careful of if you're running ESXi 4.1 is to disable LRO: http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Disable_LRO
It was disabled by default in ESXi 4.0 but not in 4.1 and has been causing all sorts of odd behavior.

Jonathan,
I take it that is esx specific?
I am running workstation.

Yes, ESXi-only. Workstation isn't supported though I'm sure you already know that and this is just your lab.
