DTMF not working for outbound calls using Out-of-band

Hi,

DTMF fails on outbound calls with CUCM 11.5 -> SIP Trunk -> CUBE -> SIP ISP. I have a CUBE that works with both inbound/outbound calls. However when I place an outbound call to an external source through the SIP ISPI can't pass DTMF. Entered digits does is not recognized.

dial-peer voice 1 voip
description OUTGOING FROM CUBE TO ISP SIP
translation-profile outgoing ISP-SIP-OUTBOUND
destination-pattern .T
session protocol sipv2
session target sip-server
voice-class codec 10
voice-class sip profiles 1
dtmf-relay sip-info
fax protocol none

I use "dtmf-relay sip-info or sip-kpml" for Out-of-band on DTMF. When I place all dial-peer to "dtmf-relay rtp-nte", DTMF works perfect on outbound calls.

Is there a command I'm missing? I need Out-of-band setup for compliance.

Thanks

Peter Valdes

Please give it a try by replacing "dtmf-relay sip-info"  to "dtmf-relay rtp-nte".

Here is a document reference for this:

Does the carrier accept the out of band DTMF?

No its not a command problem. It might be a DTMF mismatch, i.e. your ITSP
has DTMF rely set to rtp-nte and you are using oob dtmf relay which makes
it failing.

You need to use what your ITSP is using
