Hello,

I have a E1 link and i want to distribute as follows:

  • 6 channels for contact center------what commands i have to configure on voice gateway any sample configuration please.
  • How can i assign 6 No's DN to these 6 channels so that these channels should not be used by coporate users
  • Whenever a call hits on a tollfree , ITSP will route to 6 channels now these 6 DN's must be routed to call agent inside i hope this can be done by line group,hunt group.hunt pilot configuration.Please correct me ????

Take a look at this to understand dial-peers (for IOS 12.4):

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/voice/dialpeer/configuration/12-4/vd-12-4-book.html

About UCCX triggers and in general, use the available documents at CCO:

G.

Hello,

I think for Hunt List u are saying Hunt group???

So what i am concluding is

I will create a Line group for the agents Extensions 1020-1040

I will add them to a Hunt list

I will create a hunt pilot 1001-1006, and i will select above hunt list in all hunt pilot.

Whenever a call hits to 1001-1006  it will hunt list to the line group.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Oh boy.

Hunt Pilot -> Hunt List -> Line Group.

You only need one pilot for a Hunt List.

So for instance, Hunt Pilot 1001 -> Hunt List "HuntList1" -> Line Group "LineGroup1", containing 1020, 1021, 1022, 1023

Next, Hunt Pilot 1002 -> Hunt List "HuntList2" -> Line Group "LineGroup2", containing 1024, 1025

Next, Hunt Pilot 1003 -> Hunt List "HuntList3" -> Line Group "LineGroup3", containing 1026, 1027, 1028

And so on.

G.

Sorry Dear,

I appreciate your pateints for make me understand.

If suppose an ITSP routes a call to 1001 hunt pilot , In 1001 hunt pilot no agents Extension are available for ex: 1020,1021,1022,1023,they are not logged in the phone then  the call will be dropped.

And the other hunt pilot agents may be sitting idel receiving less calls.

The link provided by you for UCCX is not opening.

Awaiting your reply.

Thanks for all your replies.

Hi,

It is a Gr8 explaination by Mr. Szabo(+5). This scenario would be possible only when u advertise all DID numbers [which are mapped to a Pilot Number  by E1 Service Provider, a pool of say 50-100 numbers ] to outside world or consumers.Pilot Number is in turn mapped to a Toll-Free number like 1800XXXXX .

In Contact center scenarios, only toll-free number[1800XXXXX] is made known to Consumers so that  they call Contact center,Xlation pattern is created for Pilot Number in CUCM and a trigger is created in UCCX.

DID numbers are only used for receiving faxes.

Hi

   As Gergely and aman said,  my understanding of flow(for cucm and uccx)

get the numbers using dialpeer--->cucm--->translation pattern (tollfreeno to triggerno)-->cti routepoint to uccx(same as trigger no)--->uccx(csq,agent etc)

Please rate if this helps

Thanks
