E1/T1 link between CUMC 7.1 to CUCM 8

Hi there

Can anyone give me some advice/help on how to set up an E1 Link between CCUM 7.1 and CCUM 8

the CCUM 7 is using a 2821 router as MGCP and the CCUM 8 is using a 2811 with MGCP also.

both routers are connected by VIC2-1MF-E1 cards and there is an E1-x cable between the 2.

apparently both cards are showing as registered on the routers and in CCUM but no calls can be made across the 2 call managers.

attached to this post are some configs I've pulled off the 2 gateways.

Since it is an MGCP gateway, do you have route patterns created to route calls out of the gateway?

I've set up translation patterns and pointed them to the assigned interface.

example, digits 8xxx should route through that E1 link but the call fails every time.
