Hello,

I have this situation.

My DN are using E164 format example:

551121263608

Enterprise Alternate Number is 3608 for internal calls with 4 digit extension

At CUC the extension of the voice mail is with 4 digit, if put the E164 at the extension of unity the call i go to the default greeting of CUC.

How can i accomplish this?

I need that when the forward calls go to the CUC, go to the user greeting and the MWI works.

Regards
Leonardo Santana

I would convert the extensions in Unity to be E164, and then add the 5 digit as alternate extension.

The reason it might not have worked when you tried it might be that your voicemail profile is not properly adjusting the number, you should leave the VM mask as either blank or 12-Xs as that appears to be your DN lenght.

You can use a mask at the Voicemail Profile to mask just the last four digits for calls forwarded to CUC.

As Jaime suggested, it is a good idea to have the E164 number set as an alternate extension as well.

Alternate extensions in Unity are probably your best bet

You can accomplish this with a BAT file with the following fields:

Alias,Extension,Extension_Alt1,Extension_Alt1_Partition

1. CUC BAT export of users

2. Create BAT/CSV file using the headers above

3. CUC BAT modify users with the new CSV file
